antipasto-italiano

A Sunday lunch, especially here in southern Italy, without those 20-30 antipasti, doesn’t have “the same taste”. It is a sort of obligatory rite of passage, a way to get to know the cook who prepared your food; an unforgivable offense to a grandmother, if they are rejected!

It’s a bit like a handshake, from there you can understand a lot about a person’s character; it’s a first presentation, so saying no, as we say, “pare brutto”!

The antipasti is a must have of Italian cuisine, without it, it is more like a quick meal, almost without feeling. Therefore, to avoid offending anyone in the kitchen, try our antipasti selection; Don’t worry… you’ll still have room for everything else!
